Manchester united has agreed to Villarreal’s asking price for Eric Bailly, the Red Devil’s are looking to fortify their defensive back line for next season and the Ivorian is set to be new Manager Jose Mourinho first signing.
According to Spanish sources, the 22-year-old is keen on completing a switch to the Premier League in the summer transfer window. The Ivory Coast international has been one of the integral part of Villarreal’s back four that saw them qualify for next season’s Champions League and reach the Europa League semi-final.
Reports from British media, stated that a fee has been agreed between the Red Devils and Villarreal for the strong defender’s move to the Premier League next season. The fee could reach up to £30m ($43.5m) if Bailly pass his medical.
